All About Strollers

There are many different types of strollers. Some are designed for a specific purpose like jogging, others are made for general use. Strollers can be lightweight and compact or heavy and bulky. They can fit one child or multiple children. Some are best for newborns and others work better for older children. They may have small wheels which work well in the mall but just don't cut it on rougher terrain like a grassy field. As if this doesn't make your choice hard enough, they also come in a rainbow of colors and a huge range of prices. Careful consideration of these will help you choose which stroller is right for you.

Most families with young children have more than one stroller for different purposes. They may keep a small umbrella stroller in the trunk of the car for quick errands, while they leave the heavy deluxe double stroller at home for special day trips or walks around the neighborhood. Many families also have a special jogging stroller for going for runs, or other outings where the "all terrain" wheels come in handy. Some families start out with a single stroller, then need to purchase a double when baby number two comes along.
